Relaxing coastal park with sandy
beaches,
paperbark swamps, eucalypt forest, mangroves and rainforest.
Wildflowers
in spring and turtle nesting in summer.
A camping area
is located
within the woodland near the mouth of Eurimbula Creek. No crabbing is
allowed
in the creek.
A lookout and
associated
car park are situated about 3klms into the park. The nearest provisions
are at Agnes Water 25k's away by car or 1770, 4k's away by boat.

Bush camping, bush walking, bird
watching,
nature study, fishing, swimming, boating.

South of
Agnes Water by
4WD or north of Baffle Creek by conventional vehicle.
A coastal park with long expanses
of ocean
surfing beaches and the very scenic Deepwater Creek.
The area
consists mainly
banksia woodlands, open forests, tea tree swamps and vine thickets.
Turtle
watching is a special treat
and responsibility
here, they lay their eggs between November and February each year and
are
very easily disturbed at this time. Please ensure the beach remains
dark
during the summer nights although low powered torches may be used to
observe
while the turtle is actually laying her eggs.
Day visits
only at Flat Rock,
primitive camping
without facilities at Middle Rock, a camping area and day picnic area
are
situated at Wreck Rock.

A wildernes
NP offering a true
coastal getaway.
Boat access or 4wd only. Lush forests sandy beaches and even coral
reefs
provide a range of activities for the true adventurer. Fishing crabbing
and hiking complete the picture of one of the last coastal wildernes
areas.
Rugged peaks
covered in lush
forests of hoop pines
rising above the coast offer stunning panoramas. From the summit the
views
encompous the entire Discovery Coast region.

wildernes areas.

ladies will take your
breath away, the
first and second coral isles respectivly on the Great Barrier Reef.
Lady
Elliot Island and Lady Musgrave Island are a part of the Discovery
Coast
as are Fairfax Island, Hoskins Island and Bolt Island.
