Policy

    It is the endeavor of DiscoveryCoast.com.au, to enthusiastically promote and encourage the use of the businesses and services of  it's members and sponsors not excluding the association itself.

User Information Privacy Policy
    This Site does not under any circumstances, sell or knowingly disclose to any third party information gathered in any way by this site without the user's express permission.

    A user can access our web sites and utilize many of their services without providing any information at all.

    This web site will not disclose a user's personal information to any third party without the user's express permission.

DiscoveryCoast.com.au, may collect
    We do develop summary - not individual - reports for our advertisers. The people that make it possible for the user to use DiscoveryCoast.com.au for free - our advertisers - need this information to determine how effective their advertising investments are. We never tell our advertisers the identity of a user who saw or clicked on their advertisements unless the user has expressly given permission to do so.

Polling:
    This Site may offer interactive polls to users so they can easily share their opinions with others and see what the audience thinks about important issues. DiscoveryCoast.com.au uses a system to "register" users after they have voted, so they can vote only once on a particular question but no personal identifiable information is required to do this "registering."

Surveys:
    Occasionally DiscoveryCoast.com.au conducts user surveys to better understand our user community. We sometimes share the aggregated demographic information in these surveys with our advertisers and partners. When we conduct surveys, we may ask for personal identifiable information like name and specific address, but that information is handled by the web site only in summary.

    Any Guest Book, Trading Post or Bulletin Board are public, readable web pages. There is nothing more we can do to prevent spammers from harvesting names from them.

Chat Rooms:
    Users may have access to chat rooms and other public forums on DiscoveryCoast.com.au.  While no personal information needs be disclosed to gain such access, users should understand that should they choose to disclose personal information in these areas, it will become public information.

Usage tracking:
    DiscoveryCoast.com.au may track usage patterns on our web site and break down overall usage statistics according to a user's domain name, browser type, and MIME type by reading this information from the browser string (information contained in every user's browser).  However, we do not match this information with users' personal identifiable information.

Opt Out Electronic E-mail:
    If a user chooses to register with DiscoveryCoast.com.au, the user can choose not to receive communications from the site on.
          The email newsletter announcing new features and / or added value services by its members or third parties who offer a product or service that we think would be of value to the user.

Correcting and Updating:
    Our web sites offer users the ability to correct or change at any time certain personal identifiable information (e-mail address, credit card information and mailing address) collected during registration.  Our web sites do not offer users the means to delete personal identifiable information associated with past use of the web sites' services.
